Great addition.

Question: What is considered "online", or rather, how long does a session live after a user has left the page.

Some visualization of this may help in the "Spy" view where we might be wondering if a user is concentrating very hard on one page or has left the site for greener pastures (or fresh air?)

Frank: We calculate this number based on how many visitors have had an action within the last 10 minutes. There's no way to make this 100% accurate but we thought this was a good estimate. Some users will have left your site within 2 seconds of the last action, but most will be around for at least a few minutes, and 10 minutes is still reasonable (plus bumps up the number a bit which makes it more exciting).

Shame its in-accurate and false.

Just wanted to post an update saying I'm playing around with the placement of this data... where it is right now (in the same line as the main visitors number) is what I like the best so far, but it still doesn't seem quite right. It stands out a bit much being all alone in the center of that box. So don't be surprised if you see it moving around over the next few days as tweak with it.

I wish I had 108 visitors online right now :)

This is a great feature. I certainly feel like I have my finger on the pulse when using GetClicky - especially as Google Analytics seem to be experiencing latency processing even our daily visitor numbers!

I would be better if you could add another feature which would say - The most visitor online on [date] with [no of visitor] visitor.

That would require constantly monitoring this value for all sites which would be quite a strain. As is, it is only calculated "live" and "on demand" (e.g. when you view your dashboard)

My site has traffic of well over 1000 (10,000 plus daily)...

Very easy to use. Alot better than google analytics. Its a nice alternative to google analytics. I just wish there was a 468x60 banner I could put on my page to link back here.
