WordPress plugin update

I guess I'll just have to edit this plugin to work with pMetrics instead since the updated version isn't on the pMetrics website yet.

This is completely unrelated to this post, but I've been noticing Firefox's memory usage goes over 100MB and even 200MB when I leave Spy view open in a tab. Is there some memory leak with Spy view?

I haven't gotten around to updating the pMetrics one yet, but if it's already working fine there really isn't any need to upgrade to this one instead. Really the only difference is the interface to manage the options.

Memory leak? I dunno. I haven't noticed anything myself, but I typically don't leave Spy open that long. We're using Prototype - http://www.prototypejs.org/ - to do the live refreshing. If there is a leak, it would very likely be a bug in that library, and not with our javascript. Not point fingers or antthing, but our code is extremely simple, 99% of the work is done by Prototype.

I have noticed that Firefox has some handling problems with Asynchronous JavaScript. This may attribute to the problem and the memory usage.

Just a bit of info on it from working with other Asynchronous scripts.

My friend has a proxy site and I was helping him add something to it.

I'm on this proxy site, http://www.gizlio.com, and when I look at my website, it errors, and cannot track the usage from the visitors who are using a proxy site.

if you goto gilzio.com, and browse one of the domains with the proxy site, the getclicky, and other stat programs looks like were also not working.

not big deal at all whatsoever, just found it interesting, it doesn't track usage for proxy sites? neither did statcounter, it errored. I'm not sure about analytics.

Proxies change the referer data which will invalidate clicks.

Regarding the Spy view, I have a feature request which I think would benefit other users aswell. Is it possible to show newly arrived users with a different row color, as opposed to users who are browsing around after they entered the site. This way you can easily see which new unique visitor has just visited your website. After he/she request another page the row color changes back to the normal alternating colors again. I think yellow would be a nice color for the background cell (but another visual indicator is just as nice aswell).
