I had a one page flash site created for me recently and I didn't even consider the fact that I had no idea how to use Clicky with Flash. I read through the various threads here regarding Flash but really haven't gotten anywhere.

Is there a step-by-step for implementing tracking on a Flash site available?

Thanks.

It would be interesting to enhance the demo in this way: wannabe users should be allowed, not from the "Try demo" link, but from the "Plans"/"Pricing" table to test the different configuration available on Clicky (Free vs Pro vs ...).
This would:
a)Not damage the number of subscribers, for the most viewed link, the "Try demo" one, would still show the "Pro" features.
b)Probably convince more people to give paid versions a shot, for there would be no more "what if it isn't enough/too much for me?" thinking-possible-customers.
c)Make Clicky even a better service, for it would be the first Analytics tool to provide an "advanced" demo...

Take a look @ www.multimediaconcepts.nl/misc/visitors-differ.jpg

What's causing this difference to occur?? Which stat is right? Or reliable?

This will help you in showcasing the sites for more business as well as help webmasters to get a backlink :)

Make it even better, give webmasters a sign up form and ability to add sites as well as a testimonial and link back to the site (keyword linking not required), this will also increase visibility for clicky and ultimately more sales as those webmasters looking for a link will add your affiliate tracking code.

Dear Clicky,

I've noticed an unpleasant change in viewing results for my outgoing clicks (Content-> Clicks). When I click on one of the logs name I've given (like "outgoing/xyz") it is not only displaying the visitors who actually clicked on the outgoing link but a list of all visitors (pretty much like under the "Spy"). It all used to work fine few weeks ago and the change makes it much more difficult to track the outgoing clicks.

I couldn't find anything for this in my account settings.

Thanks,

On Nov.11 I checked the IP logs. The number of unique IPs of "last 30 days" is bigger than that of "October". And there is a big difference. The number of "October" is 194 and that of "last 30 days" is 254.

I also did another test during the whole month of Nov. The results from the tab of "October" is way less than the addup of each days unique IPs numbers.

I have 2 site ID's being used, one for WWW.mywebsite.com and another for SHOP.mywebsite.com (to track the e-commerce portion.) Now that we've been collecting stats for a while, I'm trying to analyze the numbers, but am not sure exactly how to do this.

Will the WWW site ID's visitor count include all SHOP visitors as well, or do I need to combine the numbers?

It's also confusing to figure out the bounce rate and average time spent. Is it considered a bounce if a person arrives at WWW and goes straight to a SHOP page? And does the average time spent restart once they move from WWW to SHOP, or vice versa?

I have noticed over the past week or so that increasingly visitors are double counted. I am seeing around 20% more visits as a consequence (verified with GA).

The first session usually has only one action and is followed one minute later by a second session again often with only one action.

Both visits are then treated as a bounce which has also increased the bounce rate by 20%!

The unique visits numbers have been consistent.

Any ideas?

Customized Tracking: Making Goals

Hi there,
I'd like to have a 3rd party booking engine pass back to my client the order value, and if possible, the order type (in this case an accommodation package) to the clients website.

My understanding is that I can add the booking engine to the domains of the clients account and I can track the reservation back, so long as I am able to put the tracking code on the booking engine, and it passes back some variables.

I am able to do this.

Reading through the customized tracking guide it looks like clicky_custom.goal would be the appropriate implementation method to use. Where I ask the booking engine to provide the ID field as the Package name and the revenue the total reservation value.

Accordingly if a "double room package" was purchased for $300.00 would I might expect to see the following in the tracking code....

  var clicky_custom = {};
  clicky_custom.goal = {
    id: "double room package", // id is lowercase!
    revenue: "300"
  };

I also need to supply the standard clicky tracking code with the above.

CAN ADMIN advise if this is the correct implementation. Is it possiible for Clicky to automaticallly create goals using the ID as the goal name when they are received through the domain

Thanks for your help.
