Several dynamic goals on 1 page

Hi,

I try to log 2 goals on the same page but it doesn't seem to be working.
I first have

var clicky_custom = {};
clicky_custom.goal = { name: 'Commande payee - CB / Paypal', revenue: '100'};

and later in the code

 var clicky_custom = {};
 clicky_custom.goal = { name: 'Commande ancien client' };

but only the first goal is appearing in clicky.

Is it because we can not track more than 1 goal in 1 page ?
or something else ?

regards

Hi there;

Is there a way to track how much a "click" costs when it comes to your website from another source (if you're paying for advertising).

I'd love to be able to see a running ROI of all the products that the customer has purchased in my funnels compared to the CPC.

Thanks a ton!

If you are seeing this message, our style sheet has failed to load.

Just yesterday I have started receiving the following message when I visit clicky.com:

If you are seeing this message, our style sheet has failed to load. Please try each of the following steps, in order, to fix it:

1) Clear your browser's cache and refresh the page.

2) Wait a few minutes, clear the cache again and refresh (one of our CDN servers may have had a short temporary outage).

3) Try accessing our site from another web browser on the same computer, AND from another computer on the same network. If either of those fixes it, you likely have software such as ad-block or Ghostery installed on the affected browser/computer. Please disable those to see if that fixes the issue.

4) Open a terminal window and type "ping cdn.staticstuff.net". Send us an email with the result.

I have tried each noted solution, but nothing has worked. When I ping cdn.staticstuff.net it just times out. When I try and directly access a file located at that address, again, it just times out, ie. https://cdn.staticstuff.net/inc/min/style221144.css

I can, however, access the Clicky Blog (http://clicky.com/blog/) which is not on SSL (not sure if that makes a difference).

Again, I have tried each of the suggested actions (even #3: access the site from another computer on the same network, etc).

Please advise.

I have never come across this before. Again, this just started happening May 17 in the late evening.

Looking for list of top domain traffic sources, with percentages

I would love it if Clicky offered a report or graph that tells me my top traffic source domains, without breaking them into categories. For example, a simple list version would be something like this:

Google: 30%
Facebook: 22%
SomeRandomSiteThatLinked: 15%
Pinterest: 19%
Other: 14%

And I could check from day to day for changing trends. A graph showing the top 5 over the last 28 days would work wonderfully.

Unless I'm missing it, there's no easy way to compile this info currently. AFAIK, you have to go to Traffic Sources, go into each category of traffic, and get the numbers from there... and then sometimes one source shows up in multiple places, so you have to add them together... it's time consuming to do on a daily basis. If anyone knows a simpler way, please let me know! In the meantime, I'm putting this out there as a feature request.

Hello,

since today, the visited URLs shown in clicky reports for the visited Content(either from dashboard or in the specific tab) are removing all php parameters...

Example: the page "http://www.bikingspots.ch/showtrack.php?ridename=Dor%E9naz-Portail%20de%20Fully-Saillon&rideaddress=Dor%E9naz&ridetype=Enduro", which was showing correctly yesterday, will now appear as "http://www.bikingspots.ch/showtrack.php", with no parameters, thus not allowing me to know which page has indeed been visited...

Any clues ? The website itself is working correctly, I made no changes on my clicky parameters and furthermore if I check my stats for the passed days, urls show up correctly...

Cheers !

Unless there is a way to do this and I'm just not seeing it (Which is possible, we have no hot-water this morning, so no coffee!!!).

I would like to track outbound clicks different sections of our site. The link is the same, but I would like to know where the click came from.

So let's say the outbound link is to http://apple.com. I was thinking about differentiating between outbound clicks to apple.com from different sections using the title parameter of clicky.log().

In section A of the site I plan to put this in the link:

onclick="clicky.log('http/:apple.com','From A');"

And in section B:

onclick="clicky.log('http/:apple.com','From B');"

Will I see different entries in the Clicky dashboard for "From A" and "From B"?

Also, will there be a third, separate entry for outbound clicks to apple.com that weren't tracked using clicky.log?

Finally, is this the right approach for what I'm trying to do, or is there an easier way?

Thanks,

I saw these questions asked numerous times, but did not find a clear answer. My clients are all individually set up on Clicky and individual reports are drawn.

All clients are listed on a number of different third party directories; usually with an individual, identifiable one-pager. I want to track visitor’s interaction on these pages too and I can place the tracking code there.

Question 1: If I set them up as mirrors to the main website, can I use any parameter, name convention, goal, campaign or any combination to differentiate report or segment the interaction by mirror.

If no, then I need to set up individual codes for each of these sites (one-pagers) which would clutter my dashboard and brings me to

Question 2: how to I have to structure an API - e.g. the visitor list - to create reports per client for these multiple websites, download and save them with a filename as xml in one shoot.

GA is required when running Adwords campaign as they share data and integrate with each other.

So I want to use both. Anyone know if these two tracking scripts will conflict with each other?

I really love the on-site analytics. It's very cool to have the little widget in the lower right hand corner that shows the number of visitors on the site and page, but sometimes it can interfere with what I'm trying to do.

As an example, I use Invision Power Board on my website and the CMS has moderation options in the lower right hand corner of the screen. So when I am moderating forum posts, articles, images, etc., I have to click the "x" in the widget for every single page load. It would be great to have, say, a double x (like one x overlaid by another) that when clicked closes the widget for a session instead of a page.

I'm trying to see if there is any way to set up a filtered list (and ideally an alert email) for whenever the same person comes to my website more than once by way of advertising.

My competitors are hitting me hard with fraudulent clicks in order to bump me off of Google for the day. We're working on many ways to fix this, but I'm wondering if there is an easier way to filter this event through Clicky. Near as I can tell, I can only filter people who have come to me site through advertising and been to my site more than once, but not necessarily people who have been to my site more than once THROUGH advertising.

Sorry if this is a little convoluted. Could anybody please provide some insight?

Hello there,

I just signed up for clicky today and seem to have an issue.

First of all my site is hosted using a nameserver. I was originally with godaddy but when i signed up for a templated website service I had to change my nameserver to point to their servers. I hope I phrased that right.

Can anyone tell me if accessing a site using a nameserver would effect Clicky. I signed up today and had one hit on my site which was me from my computer before I accepted the cookie from Clicky. Since then I have had no more hits. I had tested it from another computer and it has not seen any more visits from me or anyone else. According to Google I have 15 hits and I know a tech guy accessed my site earlier as well as me.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to get rolling with this.

regards

	s.async = true;
	s.src = '//hello.staticstuff.net/w/__stats.js';
(document.getElementsByTagName('head')[0] || document.getElementsByTagName('body')[0]).appendChild(s);
})();

That goal will only appear in one of those sites even though all other stats are showing up in both places.

Any ideas what the issue is and if there's a fix?

Hi,

except heatmaps it would be very useful to track also visitors mouse movements.

Right now we're using another commercial tool for that, but I think it would be great if this feature would be implemented in Clicky.

When searching for mouse tracking tools I found open-source library for that https://code.google.com/p/smt2/. Maybe it could be interesting for you.

I have spent quite a bit of time combing the UI for a way to do this. It seems like a relatively simple thing, so I'm sure I'm just missing it somewhere.

I would like to do an analysis of our top users over a period of time (last week, last month, etc.). The main thing I would like to know is the number of actions for each of our top 100 (or 1000, or 10,000) users over that period.

I can almost get this on the visitors tab, where "Most active visitors" gives me a list with the number of visits. This same view with actions instead of visits would be a great starting point.

Beyond that, the ability to look at stats for the top N visits would be awesome.

Does clicky have a way to do this?

Thanks.

1) I don't understand why menu offer me "Last 60" and "Last 90" days when I can't display such data

2) Would be great if instead of "Last 60" / "Last 90" menu offer "0-31 days" / "31-62 days" etc.

3) And when red message box with error would contain also "Show next 30 days / Show previous 30 days".

The tracking is coming in great, but I know custom calls are associated with visitors, but is there any way for me to get the pages associated these. If the calls are level 1 and level 2, when I look at them in Clicky, I want to see the content associated with these as well, not the users visiting them.

At the end of the day, I am trying to run reports on the performance of specific pages and/or authors of those pages. There are about 200+ and counting, so constantly having to add those pages into some report will be a pain which is why I setup the custom calls which is only executed when a user visits those pages, so I get the traffic numbers I want as a whole, but not broken out by page.

I'm testing the uptime feature with two of my sites.
My feedback is that I'm getting too much E-mails "xxx is down". I guess that the reason is that I'm running the sites on Google App Engine where requests sometimes fail (or take long). If one single request fails, that's still ok (in my case).

So my wish would be: only report a failure and send an e-mail, if subsequent requests fail.

Hi, I have a question about calling the API for data. When using the clicky UI I can pull up the visitors report with a PAGE URL filter applied which shows items filtered by page. Then inspecting the page to see how it works, I see that this ajax call brings in the data for the searches section:

http://www.clicky.com/ajax/visitors_more_data?site_id=xxx&date=2013-03-13,2013-03-19&type=searches&filters[href]=/job/2682/view/&limit=10&div=more_data2

I was wondering how the filtering works for this call. The url params are "filters[href]=/job/2682/view/" which doesn't seem possible with the API.

What I want it call the API and filter down the search list by url, ie. type=searches&filters[href]=/job/2682/view/

Is this possible with the API? I only see a "filter" option and if I try to use the above scheme it doesn't seem to filter at all.

Badly wanting to have clicky use my site’s usernames instead of IP addresses.

I found this page which indicates there is way to have Drupal insert the information into a cookie which Clicky then picks up. Is this something that has been documented? I am not a coder and don’t know ‘how’ to insert the code.

I would think that getting Clicky to import usernames for each visit would be a commonly required feature.

In other words, if you have the code installed on multiple sites, do they all have a common factor? I assume they identify clicky (please let me know if I'm right). But do they also identify the user? In other words, can Google see every site that is mine by looking at the clicky code?
